D-Lux 3 travel question

I'm getting ready to go to Europe/Middle East for two weeks. The photography will be casual, and not too much of it (I'm not touring.) I've got two batteries for my D-Lux 3, but I've never pushed either them all the way to the end, nor have I ever filled up a D-Lux 3 memory card before dumping it to a laptop...so my question is, if I expect to take no more than a couple of gigs worth of RAWs and don't chimp too much, can I get along with just the two batteries and skip taking the charger? I ask because I'm already taking so many pieces of miscellaneous gear (laptop, outlet adapters, iPod, cellphone, headphones, batteries) that I'd like to leave anything I can at home.

My advice : take the charger, you'd be sad to miss it if you need it.... and it's not that big ! ;-)

Take the D-Lux 3's AC Charger... your shooting RAW... I believe more juice is used from the batteries. I just returned from a transatlantic 6 day cruise, NY-Southampton with 2 batteries and the AC charger... The ship had 110volts fitted with the correct AC jack... so I charged both batteries during the cruise and before I left the ship. They provided 2 additional days of picture shooting in the UK and 2 more days shooting on the return trip while back in NY. This is my first digital camera. I shot in jpeg/fine 10m 16:9. I carried three 1gig chips. (I returned home with one 1gig chip unused) I think the only additional item you'll need are the conversion plug adapters for your AC charger to use in different countries... (so far, seems all the European hotels I've stayed in supplied 110volts... with the correct plug adapter)
