J514QC Posted May 9, 2018 Share #1 Â Posted May 9, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) hi, Â I have a problem with the DX reader on my camera. I have a portra 400 ISO kodak ( coded with DX ) but I still get the flashing +- light confirming a error on the film read. Â The thing is even if the light flash the whole time on DX mode the camera still use the right ISO 400 on DX mode to expose the shot, so it look like it can read it somewhere ... If I switch back from 1600 to DX the DX will always expose at 400 even if it blink the +- error ... Â The camera also flash +- when set to manual iso 400 like if I was pushing it ... It Will flash on manual iso at all the iso even the correct 400. Â Is this a know issue, how could the DX read the right ISO for the light meter but still display an error flashing code ,... Advertisement Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Hi J514QC, Take a look here Leica R7 Dx reader problem. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
J514QC Posted May 10, 2018 Author Share #2 Â Posted May 10, 2018 Everything works fine. I was at +1 in the metter setting so the flashing was to alert me that I was not at 0 ( in every mode dx and every iso ) ... This is not really explained anywhere and it took me way more time then expected to find this out ...
