youngjohn Posted May 8, 2018 Share #1 Β Posted May 8, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Just bought a second hand 11-23 zoom and there's a tiny (and it is tiny) bit of 'wobble' or play on the front section when it is fully extended. Is this normal? Just checking because I can return it if it's not up to spec. I know some lenses are like this, Olympus Pro zooms all seem to be pretty wobbly with no effect at all on the images. Thanks. Edited May 8, 2018 by youngjohn
Advertisement Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Hi youngjohn, Take a look here 11-23mm Zoom Wobble. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cdekter Posted May 29, 2018 Share #2 Β Posted May 29, 2018 Mine has a tiny amount of wobble at all zoom settings, just like yours. I've noticed some amount of field tilt at infinity focus which could be attributed to this. It's most pronounced at 23mm. Some time I should do a test deflecting the lens barrel and see if this alters the field tilt...
