I have a monochrom M246 and it seems perfect to me. The only issue I'm having is with long exposures, say 8 seconds +.

When I turn the camera to a vertical configuraion, I get a splotch of what looks like an inner reflection of light perhaps? I haven't done enough tests to see if this happens in a horizontal orientation, but I'm usually photographing landscapes so maybe I don't notice it because it's a white sky.

This happens regardless of what ND filters I use. I don't have any problems with normal photographs, only very long exposures.

Anyone else seen something like this? Attached is an example (unprocessed)

Here's another shot that shows the same patch of light in the lower left

There have been a few posts in the past about light leak around the M mount during long exposures. I can't remember if they were as short as 8 secs.

The solution was to place a wide rubber band around the mount, or a child's elasticated hair band (google 'scrunchy').
