khun_k Posted July 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just in case someone interested, these are some images of M8 and Zeiss Hologon, one modified to fit on M camera, another original specification, for a close comparison and reference of what has been modified. Some pictures took by M8 and Hologon can be found here -

jlm Posted July 5, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 5, 2007 Is that lens from the Contax G1,2 series?
khun_k Posted July 5, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted July 5, 2007 Sent it to a HK camera shop called "Shogun" - not sure the exact address but perhap you can check thru internet. I have altogether 3 copies, modified two and keep one original just incase. The Hologon (Contax G mount) is amazingly sharp from corner to corner. Perhaps over 50% of shos I made with M8 were by Hologon.
Guest sirvine Posted July 5, 2007 Share #5 Posted July 5, 2007 I wish I could cut it up, but it's on loan to me. To be honest, I never knew how valuable and good it is until now.
