john_royle Posted August 6, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been told that the LR9 1.5v alkaline battery works in the M meters, so avoiding conversion costs. Anyone any experience of this?
Advertisement Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Hi john_royle, Take a look here MR4 Meter Batteries. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lambroving Posted August 6, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2006 Greetings, John! Seriously doubt this is the case. The Small Battery Company I use a Weincell in my SL which works perfectly. They don't last long however (6 - 12 months) unless you take them out and cover up the air holes when not in use. Otherwise, tthey are fine.
john_royle Posted August 7, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 7, 2006 Thanks William. Their conversion device costs nearly as much as getting a meter converted at Milton Keynes. Thanks very much for the address. I am now considering the exposure meter made by V! Would prefer the "real thing" though. John
