Leica CL video best practices

I know we are mostly still photographers on this site, myself included, but one of the reasons for the CL is the video capability (grandchildren will do that) .... there are a lot of choices, and I can certainly make them (did with the Q with great effect) but am wondering what others are doing as a setting for film speed (4K, HD, HD slower, etc), autofocus method when using a zoom (I have had a lapses where shot went out of focus when I changed focal length, using 18-56 zoom), preferred metering, and lots of things I haven't brought up ... interested to hear what fellow forum members have to say ..
