Astropap Posted January 17, 2018 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been taking the little D-Lux 109 onto the slopes with me, packed into a small hard case I lined with foam. I'm thinking Id like to take the X Vario with me. It won't fit into the hard case but I have a nice waist pack that I can line with foam and/or bubble wrap. The X Vario is a very solid camera but I'm wondering if the foam padding will be sufficient protection if I take a spill. Anybody have any experience with this? graphlex Posted January 17, 2018 Share #2 Posted January 17, 2018 It’s a terrific ski camera and I t’s fairly robust. One reservation: the need to remove goggles to see the EVF.
