M10 EVF flashes white screen

I have had my M10 and the leica EVF for almost 2-3 months now and all of sudden, the EVF is now flashing a white screen when I placed my eye over it. I repeated the movement of my face and it did the same thing. LiveView looked fine.

 

I had to turn off the camera a couple of times before the EVF returned to normal when I placed my eye over it.

 

Have u seen this before ?

I have not experienced this but try a complete camera reset (with the evf removed). Then clean the contacts of the evf with an ear bud dipped in some alcohol before refitting & trying again.
