Advertisement Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Hi darkness30, Take a look here For Bob. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leicamann Posted August 7, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2006 Nice rendition, I would have also tried to get a lower angle of view, that way having less of the light colored green and more of the beautiful jade tone background, that would make the rose stand out even more so, with just a hint of the leaves. My 2 cents worth. Thanks for your posting..from Ancara..man the place looks pretty hot and dry from " Google Earth".. couple of lakes near Golbasi, please take me somehwhere to swim:) Nice large lake and lots of greenery near Karacaoren..looks about 4 hrs drive from Ankara..still can't find Oran..Oltan? robert_parker Posted August 7, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 7, 2006 Mehmet This is an unusual composition and taken with a lens not normally associated with close up work - I really like it for the symmetry and the way that the rose stands out form the background. The red and green are also just about controlled enough on my monitor to provide vivid and striking colour. I really like the low angle of view, as this makes for an original viewpoint and you've avoided the temptation to focus 'head on' in to the flower. darkness30 Posted August 10, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted August 10, 2006 Thanks all, for the input. I will definetly try them. Leicamann Oran is very clode to Golbasi and i am sure its an unworthy neighbourhood for google earth. Yep its hot here but at least its not humid. Thanks, Mehmet
