It`s the same with MM1, although I have updated with the latest firmware.

 

The MM1 detects the new Summaron-M since firmware 1.016.

If the Info-Button is pressed and the lens detection set to "auto"- mode, the lens type "28 f/5.6" will be displayed.

The lens will be properly encoded in the EXIF data of MM1 DNG or JPG files.

 

But: The Summaron is not listed in the MM1's list for manual lens correction.

 

I do not have a M246 here, but if firmware 1.0.2.0 supports the new Thambar and Nocti 75 it should support the Summaron 28.

True, the MM1 realizes a 28 f/5.6 lens, but in Lightroom I can only see "28mm". Nowhere "Summaron" is to be found.

I have no issues with LR 6.13 and the Summaron-M 28. If the lens correction check box is enabled, the profile for the Summaron is selected automatically.
