A number of people have suggested I put a book together of the street portraits I do and so I have duly taken your advice and done just that. The book is a collection of the best images from this year combined with a few vignettes on how the encounters happened. If anyone really wanted to buy a copy you can do so from the Blurb bookshop but I'm happy to provide a free download of the PDF here:

These are GREAT pictures Greg and I am so pleased that you have made this book from them and provided your narrative about the people and the pictures.

To approach strangers in the street as you have done here requires a special personality and way of interaction with them with of course the sheer guts to go out and do it.

The picture of the girl playing the saxophone whilst stood on the chair in the sea at Brighton is brilliant and surreal and is just one of many really good pictures in the book.

The Soho pictures are also particularly noteworthy and the one of the Muslim girl in the hijab must have taken real people skills to go up to her and ask to take her portrait.

Good stuff Greg and a lesson for us all how to go out and follow a project and make such an incisive and absorbing result.

Well done indeed!!

You flatter me Paul, but I like it very much. Thank you.

Couldn't get the Dropbox link to work Greg, but had a good look at your Tears In Rain website and was blown away by the consistent quality of your images.

I'm really sorry you couldn't get it to work but really apppreciate your positive comments. They genuinely mean a lot.

I have copied the Dropbox link again and am posting it here. Hopefully this will work.

Thanks for sharing this. I really like the pictures which I have looked through for the first time - I will return for another look for sure.

Great effort has been put into this - very inspiring. A good idea to others for doing something constructive in the holidays  :)

Cheers
