rlade Posted July 1, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted July 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Since it doesn't appear that Leica has a wide adapter available for the V-Lux 1, has anyone tried the Panasonic wide adapter for the FZ-30/FZ50 (or something similar) on the V-Lux 1? If so, have you been satisfied with the results? I've heard there's an astronomical amount of flair with the Panasonic adapter. True or false from your experience. Â Thanks for the help. Riley Posted July 2, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted July 2, 2007 i dont own a v-lux or an fz so i cant comment if you have no luck here you might try some panasonic forums like steves reviews or dcresource. there are also raynox converters which seem pretty good Raynox conversion lens and accessories for Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ50, DMC-FZ30 Digital Cameras
Bo_Lorentzen Posted July 2, 2007 Share #3  Posted July 2, 2007 Try a Raynox adapter, they are generally pretty good, however expect some chroma abration on the edges.. particularly if you go really wide, regardless these lenses will not perform close to a Leica lens expectation.  Bo  My Leica scratch page - random thoughts , pictures and such. I use my VLUX with a 55mm Raynox 6600 Pro wide lens screwed directly to the camera lens and it looks does great for me. Check out the Cars & Trucks album at Zoto 3.0 - Photo Sharing. I believe, everything in that album was taked with the combination.  DonR
