V-Lux 1 Wide Adapter

Since it doesn't appear that Leica has a wide adapter available for the V-Lux 1, has anyone tried the Panasonic wide adapter for the FZ-30/FZ50 (or something similar) on the V-Lux 1? If so, have you been satisfied with the results? I've heard there's an astronomical amount of flair with the Panasonic adapter. True or false from your experience.

i dont own a v-lux or an fz so i cant comment

if you have no luck here you might try some panasonic forums like steves reviews or dcresource.

there are also raynox converters which seem pretty good

Try a Raynox adapter, they are generally pretty good, however expect some chroma abration on the edges.. particularly if you go really wide, regardless these lenses will not perform close to a Leica lens expectation.

I don't know anything about a wide adapter. I use my VLUX with a 55mm Raynox 6600 Pro wide lens screwed directly to the camera lens and it looks does great for me. Check out the Cars & Trucks album at Zoto 3.0 - Photo Sharing. I believe, everything in that album was taked with the combination.
