i often use the EVF when using my 75 cron and typically shoot aperture preferred. I have noticed that after working the camera for a number of shots the exposure  in the EVF goes way off (under exposed) and doesn't recover until i turn the camera off and then back on again. its something i have gotten used to however it seems like a firmware update is still needed on the 240.

anyone else experiencing this condition ?

When this happens does pointing the camera towards a bright light source or sky correct this anomaly?

I occasionally come across this issue and on occasion I can clear it by pointing the camera towards a bright sky. If this doesn't work then turning the camera off and then back on does clear the issue. As I have two M240 cameras with two Olympus EVF I think it likely that you are right, it could be a firmware problem. I use aperture priority most of the time.

This happened to me once, but it turned out that I hadn't got the EVF pushed completely home into its socket. It might just be the case that yours is the same issue, and that you move the EVF into position as a side effect of turning the camera on and off. Yours is very likely a different problem, but I guess it's worth trying all possibilities.
