Nick De Marco Posted June 30, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 30, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Recently picked up a Konica Hexar RF. This has to be one of the best made Leica M copies around. Titanium plated and fully automatic (which has its drawbacks because of reliance on batteries etc., but great to have in your collection). Run s film of Velvia 50 through it with a Leica Summicron 50 f2. First time I have used Velvia 50 too. Very happy with the results http://www.pbase.com/nickdemarco/konica_hexar_rf http://www.pbase.com/nickdemarco
Advertisement Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Hi Nick De Marco, Take a look here Konica Hexar RF . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Never Satisfied Posted July 3, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 3, 2007 Hi Nick, I owned an RF and sold it because of the fabled back / front focus issues with non Konica lenses. I regret selling it and are looking for a good body at the moment. It's a fantastic camera to keep in your bag because of its automation, sometimes being able to rely on the auto setting for reasons of speed is great. If you have a good body you'll never sell it. Cheers Andrew.
