David Monkhouse Posted June 29, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Now, proudly standing on either side of the front porch are two standard roses. Beautiful 60th birthday presents from my work colleagues and my first serious attempt to use the M8 to photograph a flower instead of the D-LUX 3. Not so easy but rocking is now, after many years, second nature. The lens is the 35mm Summicron, non-asph however.

robert_parker Posted June 29, 2007 Share #3 Posted June 29, 2007 David Lovely shot with its own kind of symmetry - an original viewpoint adds to the interest for me, too
Artichoke Posted June 29, 2007 Share #4 Posted June 29, 2007 but I particularly like all those rosebuds holding the promise of further delights lovely macro with an unlikely lens well done
David Monkhouse Posted July 4, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted July 4, 2007 Sorry to be so late with thanks but I'm glad the rose was appreciated, after all the rain (most rain in June since records began) it's certainly not a photographic subject now!
