Planning for contingencies always pays off, but expecting certainty often results in spending lots of time and effort that might otherwise be spent working. I find a mix of "soft" and "hard" (i.e., maintaining physical records, i.e., negatives, raw files, etc.) gives me some space to work in a relatively anxiety-free setting. I suppose y’all held out on that for as long as possible. Well, our central water supply is publicly-owned, with some degree of accountability and a statutory mandate to provide service.
