Leica Guy Posted October 18, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 18, 2017 I also posted this in another digiscoping thread. I have the adapter and I’m starting to use it on a Swarovski 20x-60x eyepiece. It’s slightly larger diameter than my eyepiece even when tightened to the limit. I’m thinking I’ll wrap some tape or something around the eyepiece to give it a little more width. I only need about 2 mm. The open diameter of the adapter is 58.6 mm. The closed dimension is 56.1 mm. The diameter of my Swarovski eyepiece is 54.5 mm. The actual closed dimension is a squished circle since the screw tightens on one side and deforms the circle in the process. I hope this helps. I’m happy with the quality of the adapter, but wish it fit my application a little better. I already had the spotting scope or I might have bought the Leica one.
