Like me, you focus on details in an arrangement. My Ikebana colleagues would like me to photograph their entire arrangement. It works with a board backdrop but the photos look stale and flat to me. Do you have any suggestions? Does anybody?

Hi,

I would use Lightroom and try to work with the radial filter in order to underexpose everything around one flower. Not to much but enough to make the flower you chose, the star of the arrangement.

Merry Christmas.

Sorry, don't know the name of this plant, but it's quite striking - in the courtyard of one of the California Missions.

The pottery objects are Cambodian folk animals. They are hollow and hold water. I am trying light painting for the first time.
