Steve Ricoh Posted September 25, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has dual layer emulsion, silver bromide and silver iodide - sounds interesting, From what I've read it produces glorious blacks. Must give it a whirl.
Advertisement Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Hi Steve Ricoh, Take a look here Anyone tried Bergger Pancro 400 135?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tobey bilek Posted October 4, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 4, 2017 Look at film reviews on Emulsive.com. Opened my darkroom after 10 years to make prints and instruct my son who will have access to the best darkroom money could buy. He loves it so far and is a quick learner. I bought him 10 rolls of Bergger for his birthday. Not pronounced burger as in hamburger. It is French, Burget , as in Chevrolet. Tobey quick review. Film has some grain. It is not like Tmax 100. The image tones are beautiful and puts tri x to shame. Grain is round like Bergger was 10 years ago so it is very even , well behaved, and not objectionable. This comes from a fine grain addict. I use D76 1:1. Times are long but correct for diffusion enlarger. Negs look flat, but print well so do not go by appearance. 75F works fine to shorten times. Add a few rolls to your next order with B&H, Adorama, or Freestyle.

I used this UK source: https://ntphotoworks.com/shop/?s=bergger&post_type=product But note I took the last 5 rolls of 35mm now showing O/S, if you enquire they will give an estimate delivery I found them very helpful.
