Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted September 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Guys For the last 6 months I have been developing my 8x10 film using trays and I have been having fantastic results. Today I tried continuous agitation using beseler drums on a mechanical roller......... wow frigging wow. What a breeze getting the film in the tubs and only using 300 ml of chems. The negs are drying now and I will post up later but looking at the negs in water they looked great ........ pictures to follow Neil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Advertisement Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Hi Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS, Take a look here Continuous agitation verses trays. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pico Posted September 24, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 24, 2017 Continuous agitation drum processing is the only way I do sheet film. It is consistent!
M9reno Posted September 24, 2017 Share #3 Posted September 24, 2017 JOBO CPP3 does the same. Very good, but I find that I need 5 minutes of pre-wash to avoid uneven development.
Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted September 24, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 24, 2017 So as they say the poof is in the pudding. The first shot is after the scan and you can see a line about 1 inch from the top...........I guess from the developing but I am trying to get my head around why as its not in the second picture of the Mosque?? otto.f Posted September 24, 2017 Share #5 Posted September 24, 2017 Don't want to spoil your enthusiasm but what's that nearly rectangular patch of white at the top right? Do clouds look that way? Just want to say that I saw perfect results from stand development of Pancro400 in Rodinal 1:100 (20minutes) on the LF forum the other day.

You won't spoil anything To me it looks like a light leak that I will keep a note of (won't really as I don't take notes) and see if it raises its ugly head again and if so we will bin the film holder. Yes I saw that post and commented on it. Here in Malaysia we can get Milford LC29 or LC29. I did buy some D76 from B&H as I needed that for Kodak Trix320 but seeing as HP5+ is nearly half the price of the Kodak film I just use that...........its also more user friendly when it comes to the repository factor (Bellows factor) Neil
otto.f Posted September 24, 2017 Share #9 Posted September 24, 2017 Yes, LC29 is close to HC110, very manageable
