vladik Posted August 30, 2017 Share #1 Â Posted August 30, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Short story: Sold my M 240 with intention to buy M10 and meantime using my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and loving it (native and M lenses). That old fashion inaccurate rangefinder, removable bottom plate, lens selector leaver and stick on EVF is not something that I am looking forward to. The only plus would be M10 size. So I am going to get SL and use it with M lenses (no interest in huge SL ones). I also have an R 4.0/80-200 zoom. My question is how would Leica M to L adapter and Novoflex R to M adapter work on SL? Preferably from your own experience with this setup? Thank you in advance for your replays.
Advertisement Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Hi vladik, Take a look here M Adapter L and LEM/LER?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tritentrue Posted August 30, 2017 Share #2 Â Posted August 30, 2017 I have the Novoflex LEM/LER, which I bought before the R-Adapter-M was available in my area. Â It's a loose fit at the M-Adapter-T joint and has rotational play at the lens joint on all of my R lenses. Â I currently have two of the Leica R-Adapter-M, one of which I use with the tripod foot affixed, the other without. Â Both fit properly (no looseness, no rotational play) at both the M-Adapter-T joint and the lens joint.
Einst_Stein Posted August 31, 2017 Share #3 Â Posted August 31, 2017 I have R to EOS, EOS to M, and M to L. They work. But they are kind of rattling. It also do not recognize which Leica lens. Not a big deal. But a real Leica R to L should feel much better and costs much more. Â If function is all you need, go for cheap one. Butto get real good conenonce and solid feeling. Money rules.
