I set the XV up on a tripod with a Thousand Oaks solar filter zoomed in to 70mm. These pics are not NASA quality and certainly have been done before, but they are my pics and memories of one of the most amazing natural phenomenon I have ever witnessed. As the camera was all set, it allowed me to enjoy the moment and take it all in. Not too shabby for a 70mm lens! Welcome, dear visitor!
