Leicalifer Posted August 26, 2017 Share #1 Â Posted August 26, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone make a L plate for the Sl with the Leica handgrip installed? Checked RRS and Kirk and didn't see anything which was SL specific with the handgrip.
Advertisement Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Hi Leicalifer, Take a look here L plate for SL with handrip installed. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
thighslapper Posted August 26, 2017 Share #2 Â Posted August 26, 2017 Not that I've found ..... which along with the incompatibility with my hand-strap is the reason why it sits gathering dust in a drawer. Â
loalposo Posted September 3, 2017 Share #3 Â Posted September 3, 2017 Arca Swiss has an universal L bracket (802308.3) which may work with the SL with the Leica handgrip installed. Haven't tried it myself ( I have both the SL and the handgrip) That is if you have the right Arca Swiss plate. If anyone else knows of a different alternative, Im all ears. Thanks
Leicalifer Posted September 3, 2017 Author Share #4 Â Posted September 3, 2017 We can only hope RRS decides to make one; the version for the non-gripped SL is simply fantastic!
Leicaiste Posted September 3, 2017 Share #5 Â Posted September 3, 2017 I wonder how many Leica handgrip were sold until now. And how many users of the handgrip will need to use it with a L bracket. I don't see any other use of the handgrip than with the 90-280. And this lens has its own rotating tripod mount. Novoflex offers a rotating tripod mount for the 24-90.
