DDstereo Posted August 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) A batch of shots I took in a wine bar had this strange banding effect. It's not happened since but is a bit worrying. Settings were f4 1/100 for the portrait and f5 1/160 for the chair. Both with auto ISO. Any thoughts? Welcome, dear visitor! dancook Posted August 22, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2017 Did you have electronic shutter set to 'always on'? That'll probably be the cause, it can cause banding with certain artificial lights.

See e.g. https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/273064-fully-electronic-shutter-images/page-1.. Activate the mechanical shutter, and things should be ok (option found by repeated activation of the upper left button).
