Keith (M) Posted August 17, 2017 Share #1  Posted August 17, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) For b&w use I generally fit a medium yellow filter to my lenses and on my 35mm & 90mm Elmarit-R's, the built in lens-hood slides out over the filter, providing protection against flare. However, on the 60mm the front element of the lens is recessed by some 30mm or so, negating the need for a lens-hood - but adding a filter of course means it is exposed. I could buy a 55mm threaded hood to screw into the filter but what about vignetting?   Anyone any experience of using the 60mm with a filter?
