Hello,

I really love my D-Lux2, it's pocketable and can take great pictures in good condition but...

when the light is not optimal it becomes really tricky to get good results, white balance and autofocus become erratic. AF also becomes very slow.

Anyone have hints on ways to improve the efficiency of this cam in low light ?

regards,

Daniel

Daniel,

make sure you point the camera at something contrasty, like big letters in a newspaper, or a piece of paper with black and white parts with sharp edges. Hold that at the spot you want to be in focus. The auto focus needs contrast to 'work'...
