jackal Posted June 25, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) mental i got mine today.... a few observations 1) its quite small ! 2) the grey focus marks were a complete suprise 3) the WA viewfinders built in spirit level is very clever ! 4) no idea what the green light/circle is on top of the viewfinder 5) viewfinder is big-ish but its so handy especially as it can cover all focal lengths on my M7 as well be intesreting to see how it stanck up against my recent 15mm heliar shots and 21mm ASPH shots... 2 lenses that I have been VERY impressed with after spending a few days at the beach on teh weekend I am now convinced that i need the CV 12mm as well though

dspeltz Posted August 21, 2007 Share #8 Posted August 21, 2007 I got my WATE today (Aug 21 on the discount program. I bought my camera in November, submitted the request in January). I assume that with the 16mm focal length we use the 21mm setting on the finder that arrived with it? Tnx David

carstenw Posted August 21, 2007 Share #11 Posted August 21, 2007 The viewfinder is bulky, but it is also the most accurate framing you are going to have with the M8!
