Â I figured out the typo in the manual, where it says to choose "manual - roll" in the popup. It should be "manual - front" but that's not the problem. Â I'm using Ilford museum board, trying to print a 12x16 image. On my 2200 I got a 12x16 image. On the 2400, the printer puts a 3/4-inch margin at the top and bottom of the board. Â The image is nicely centered (thanks a lot!) but is shorter than 16 inches -- and not adjusted -- that is, my image is chopped off at the top and bottom. This worked with my 2200 but the 2400 wants to put big margins in.  I've looked in the software options and have also emailed Epson and am waiting for their response.  Did you solve this with your Canon? It's particularly stubborn when it comes to sizing B&W prints. If I figure out a workaround I'll let you know, but it's doubtful that it would apply to the 2400. If it had, I might have looked for something of the same sort on the Epson.  This is not cool for me because I use the Ilford museum board in frames without mattes. If I have to use paper, I'll have to hang from mounting board and I liked having the single solution for a matte-less framing job. [Not to mention that I've already ordered the frame sides....]  Thanks for the info.  Looking for Epson 2400 users out there using thick media. Calling all users ......... I remember it was a little bit tricky and I noticed:  1. I had to take the paper size I want to print on (no rolls!). 2. I must put in the thick media from the rear side (exact positioning!). 3. I could not print borderless and I had to make some testprints to get exact borders. 4. After a lot of trials and errors I got the requested results = 25 high quality prints on 29 x 29 mm paper to fill in an especial foto-book.  5. I never did it again!!! Sorry, German isn't one of mine (and we 'Muricans don't do very well anyway...).  I have posted a query on the R2400 SIG on Yahoo and am waiting for some help there. peterv Posted June 26, 2007 Share #9  Posted June 26, 2007 Bill,  since you bumped twice, and are allways willing to help others, I started searching...  It took me some time to find something...  Strangly, I can only find this info in Dutch, so I'll post the desktop pictures I made, and completely translate...  Hope this helps...  Peter    1 switch printer on  2 open the top-printer cover, next open the front printer cover  3 close upper printer cover  4 load thick media printside upwords  WARNING never use more than one thick piece of paper at a time  5 slide the thick piece of paper into the printer so that the back-part aligns with the arrows on the front paperinlet.  6 slide the leftsideglider against the leftside of the thick piece of paper  7 press the paperbutton (see image). The thick piece of paper is now automatically placed in position. When the on/off light stops blinking your task is finished.  WARNING make sure you have enough room behind your printer for the thick piece of paper to leave the printer on the backside Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Â Using PS, I Print-with-Preview, and specify a 12x16 image. When I print on paper loaded from the top of the printer the image comes out 12x16. Â When I insert the media from the front, everything works properly in terms of paper movement and ink deposit. What doesn't work is that the 2400 crops my image on its own, lopping of 1/2 inch or so at the top and bottom -- from the image. Â Confusing. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Â Â Epson told me that when using rear feed for posterboard, you would get full bleed on sides but it would chop off about 1" on the length due to starting the feed.
