imagesbylonda Posted June 25, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted June 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just got my new V-LUX1 last week, and I'm attempting to download & process RAW images in Photoshop 7 on my IMAC with OS-X.10.4.10 They're not recognized by the computer as valid images. When we did some research, we're finding something about Aperature not supporting the V-Lux1 ... but I'm not clear on what this is and how it relates to Photoshop or Preview. Before I pack up my new camera and send it back as defective, can anyone out there help me understand? Is there a work around? Or am I destined to JPEGs now. Thanks. phlogiston1 Posted June 25, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted June 25, 2007 Hi I have a V1 and love it. I haven't seen PS7 for a long time, I use PSCS3. I would try downloading the latest Raw converter from Adobe or better still see if you can download the DNG converter and use that. I doubt very much if the camera is faulty but I guess anything is possible. I dont use Aperture. You could also try Capture 1 LE, it may work for you. imagesbylonda Posted June 25, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted June 25, 2007 Thanks - my husband found some free funky RAW converter and downloaded that and opened my images... so it's not the camera! whew! OK, we'll definitely upgrade the PS, and the Adobe and take it from there. Thanks for your reply
Lucklik Posted June 25, 2007 Share #4  Posted June 25, 2007 You could also use the PS Elements 3 on the supplied CD and download camera raw 3.6 I think.  rgs  Luc
