pascal_meheut Posted June 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 24, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, My almost brand new M10 is spot-on with my brand-new 28mm/2, the 35mm FLE & the 50mm/1.4 ASPH. So far, this is what I had with the M9 & the M240 except the M10 seems even better. But the 90mm/2.8 shows some front-focus: 3 cm at 1 meter & also around the infinite. I had both the body & lens checked in a reputable shop and as expected, the M10 is perfect but the lens is "within the margin of error"... So I checked with 2 other 90mm, both Apo-ASPH, one of them new and both showed some strong front focus: 2 to 3 meter at 20 meter for instance. I plan to investigate some more but so far, I'm puzzled (as is the shop & my usual reseller). What can make a Leica M precise with all the lenses but consistently exhibit front-focus with 3 different 90mm? Any idea?
