adli Posted May 31, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 31, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi One of the options in the a la carte programme is genuine cowhide leather trim instead of the standard leatherette. Do anyone here have any exxperience with the cowhide? I am not thinking about colors but dureability, feel of use, slip resistance when you hold the camera etc. Will it feel too soft ald slippery? Will it over time develop any defects or come loose from teh camera? Thanks, Arne

andybarton Posted May 31, 2017 Share #2 Posted May 31, 2017 I had an MP with the black saddle leather from the a la carte programme. It was a really beautiful finish. I never had any issues with durability or slippiness. I have since sold the camera, but I have no reason to believe that the leather finish would fail any sooner than any other covering.
