BenX Posted May 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 9, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) How many megabytes is the data file for a picture taken with the V-Lux 4 set at 4:3, 12M (4000 x 3000) and recorded in "RAW+JPEG" with high image quality? I scoured the User Manual and cannot find any good data on that. Would be interested in knowing how big the RAW file would be and how big the JPG file would be. Would also like to know how many of such dual-recorded photos can fit on an 8GB SD card (counting the two files, RAW and JPG, as "one" photo). I can't speak for the V-Lux 4 but for the D-Lux (109) with also 12 MPx. JPG-fine is about 6.5 MB and the RAWs (RWLs) are about 14.5 MB, totalling for about 21 MB for both. This results in about 380 image files RAW+JPG for the 8 MB card. Andreas
