Can I use Nikkor lenses on an M*

Hi Peter,

I'm particularly interested in trying the 58/1.2

How do you want to focus a 58 f/1.2 on a M8 ? :o

I use sometimes a 17mm Rokkor with adapter on my M8, but there is practicaly no need of focusing with that kind of lens. ;)

Cheers, Ph.

If you want to use your old Nikon Lenses digital buy a Nikon D200.

You can see what you get on the picture, you can focus and the lightmeter is working.

Hi Philippe- Well, we certainly wouldn't hope for much at 1.2, but I'd be thinking of trying it with a visoflex. I am curious how this all works in practice. You mention your 17mm, I'd be also curious how the venerable nikon 17-35/2.8 works at the wider angles. best...Peter

Forget it!

The Visoflex add 40mm (1.57 in) between lens and body. That's a pretty big macro ring. :)
