elansprint72 Posted June 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) This one was built much in the spirit of the Railton in the late 1960s; it had a Sunbeam chassis at that time but I'm sure that by about 1972/3 it was racing as the Bentley Napier driven by Peter Morley (I've got some slides somewhere from that era). It had a massive accident (hardly a surprise) at some point and re-appeared with the Railton style nose. I had a chat with the, now, owner Chris Williams a couple of weeks ago; he is delightfully eccentric and was wearing a bowler hat fitted with a headlight at the time! elansprint72 Posted June 21, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted June 21, 2007 Tony, Glad you saw this; do you have any more shots from Brooklands and are you going to Goodwood? If so, have a good week-end; unfortunately I've had to give away my tickets.
