Advertisement Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Hi AlexP, Take a look here SL shows a different lens in exif. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LD_50 Posted April 2, 2017 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2017 It's not a native lens so you're probably seeing an issue with the Canon adapter's compatibility with the camera.
Alo Ako Posted April 2, 2017 Share #3 Posted April 2, 2017 Sigma may answer this question...they can tell you, which lens ID the 85 uses.
Ingo Posted April 2, 2017 Share #4 Posted April 2, 2017 My Canon EF 8-15 also has a wrong profile.
Leicaiste Posted April 3, 2017 Share #5 Posted April 3, 2017 I took picture using the Sigma 85 ART, when exif show, it has it under canon 24mm mkii. How this happen? Still the SL knows it is a 85mm and adapt the speed accordingly.
trond Posted April 3, 2017 Share #6 Posted April 3, 2017 The Sigma ART 50mm f1.4 shot up as EF35mm f1.4, but with the correct focal length of 50mm. With the Novoflex Nikon adapter the Sigma ART 85mm f1.4 show as 84mm focal length and no name in the lens designation field. Best regards Trond
