pico Posted February 28, 2017 Share #1  Posted February 28, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I do not know where this post should go because it is an option on some LTM cameras but I am wondering if it might be useful on M-mount rangefinders.  Sorry I do not have a picture. Will try to find one.  The orange filter over the RF on my IIIG makes a big difference to me. I'm thrilled by its assistance.  Has anyone tried to apply something similar to an M? I'm looking into it right now.  ...and to follow up on an earlier post, I got two more Leicagoodie Shades and will place them on the M9s. Will report but only if they do not improve focusing. They sure work on my M7 cameras.  Best, Pico

arno_nyhm Posted March 2, 2017 Share #2 Â Posted March 2, 2017 interesting idea. maybe sticking a gel Filter could solve this problem? Â do you know the name of the filter that used to be available for the IIIG?

do you know the name of the filter that used to be available for the IIIG?  I'm fairly sure it is called the OKARO, and it works for some earlier IIIs as well. Finding a clean one was my challenge.
