Advertisement Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Hi zmcm, Take a look here Summicron 35/2 ASPH new ou used Summilux 35/1.4 previews version?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
padam Posted February 22, 2017 Share #2 Â Posted February 22, 2017 It has been discussed numerous times. The 35/1.4 ASPH (pre-FLE) has minor focus shift, but it is a bit lighter in weight and the focus ring is easier to turn. The newest 35/1.4 ASPH FLE has this focus shift problem rectified and a little sharper at close range because of the floating element, but the blur is less smooth than the older version. Â There is no best one between a Summicron or a Summilux, a matter of preference if you want faster lens (faster shutter speeds or lower light) and more blur (more 'beautiful'), or smaller and lighter. B-A-C Posted February 22, 2017 Share #3 Â Posted February 22, 2017 Honestly both of these lenses are really awesome. Â I have the 35 Cron ASPH - older version. Â I'm not sure there's an optical difference other than more blades. Â It's a flat out awesome lense - sharp, small and great ergonomics. Â That being said so is the ASPH. Â It's purely a preference call.
