tompoes Posted February 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 10, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Using LV on the display or with the Visoflex the image is not enlarged anymore whilst turning the focussing ring. The bottom left rectangle is shown but remains blank.I did set the "enlarging a detail" on continuous mode by setting the Capture Assistant to Automatic. The problem started by using the Visoflex 020 for the first time, initially everything worked fine but suddenly i got this problem.Without the Visoflex i am having the same problem.Did try to use the " For occasional use " option by pressing the front Focus button but again i did not achieve any magnification and a blank square bottom left.Changing to using the "thumbwheel option" worked but using this wheel for exposure compensation.Did reset the camera and using 1.0.2.0 firmware.Followed the instruction of the manual as described at page

Steve Spencer Posted February 10, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 10, 2017 Using LV on the display or with the Visoflex the image is not enlarged anymore whilst turning the focussing ring. The bottom left rectangle is shown but remains blank. I did set the "enlarging a detail" on continuous mode by setting the Capture Assistant to Automatic. The problem started by using the Visoflex 020 for the first time, initially everything worked fine but suddenly i got this problem. Without the Visoflex i am having the same problem. Did try to use the " For occasional use " option by pressing the front Focus button but again i did not achieve any magnification and a blank square bottom left. Changing to using the "thumbwheel option" worked but using this wheel for exposure compensation. Did reset the camera and using 1.0.2.0 firmware. Followed the instruction of the manual as described at page 165 If you read the FAQ, then you will see that this is how the system is designed to work. The answer there describes how it works better and in full detail, but briefly when you use the thumbwheel to set the level of magnification then next time you activate magnification it returns to the last level you used. If the last level was no magnification you only get focus aids and not magnification. So if you like a certain level of magnification it is easy and you can just leave it at that level, but if you change levels then you have to use the thumb wheel. Once you get out of magnification (including the zero magnification with just focus aids) the thumb wheel will revert to exposure compensation.
