Wildfire Sunset - 135 Tele-Elmar, slight crop to about 200mm equivalent.

(actually, Colorado doesn't have many fires right now, but the wind patterns are bringing us massive smoke for CA, MT etc.)

I've never been able to keep red suns like this from blowing out to yellow on digital, unless the rest of the frame was black. Until the M10. Amazing DR!

I really like this photo Andy.  It looks like it could be an old LP cover.  Wichita Lineman anyone?

My first shot with Leica M10 and Zeiss Biogon 35mm F/2.0 for catching northerns lights in South-West coast of Norway. It was to much cloth´s this night to get good conditions and get good photos.

But M10 do the job well done so far, Iso 800, aperture 4.0 and 14 seconds

Last week I visited St. Thomas and San Juan - yes, a week before Irma, so I was very fortunate - and snapped a few.

This first was taken from the deck off of my room:

This one is a bit poignant.  My daughter and I went to hop a freighter to another island and this young child caught my eye, looking dutifully out the window.  I found out from the ticket rep that the child comes each morning to wait for his mother to arrive by boat from her overnight job on another island.  He stays overnight alone in his home and comes down to the dock before dawn in wait.

After this past week, it's impossible for me to get him and his mother out of my mind, knowing what that storm has wrought.
