Leica Fanatic Posted January 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) **Posted this in the M10 forum by mistake** I can feel myself being more and more drawn to an MD with every passing day. However there's one major point of concern, which regards how the camera awakes after it's been to sleep. When I tested the M60, it's only major failing (apart from locking up) was that if I didn't habitually give the shutter button a half-press every minute, it would go to sleep after 2. Then it would take an eternity before I could take a picture again. Obviously with no menu, there was nothing I could do about this.So how does the MD now behave (with the current firmware). Does it wake up quickly (the important bit)? Is there a choice of whether to go to sleep or stay awake, etc?Cheers, Kev

Roberto Watson Posted January 22, 2017 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2017 Instantly, no delay. For sure my best camera since M6 and M3. I tested it vs M-E and Monochrome CCD and M-D comes up faster. (" not big deal hear." Should read "not big deal here") Best regards
