nico1974 Posted January 20, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I tried out the Leica M10 at Reddotcameras in London this morning and it does feel and look like the camera that the M240 should have always been. Far more refined and great ergonomically the 4mm do make a difference after all and the EVF is a huge improvement. The blackout time is still there but definitely shorter. What I noticed and I don't think that it has been mentioned in any of the reviews that I have read so far is that the new sensor does handle wide angle lenses a lot better in particular the corrections that are needed for colour casts. I mounted my Voigtlander 21/4 lens on it and with no lens selected in the menu could not see any colour casts. I did not have time to test this further but it would be really interesting for someone that has the camera to verify this with a non coded wide angle lens. I have now paid my deposit and hope to have the camera fairly soon ! Nicholas
