Sam Posted January 18, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 18, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M240 was ok at infinity but consistently back focusing at close distances with 50 Summilux ASPH, Noctilux 0.95, and 35mm Summilux FLE. After some research on this thread http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/118043-m9-coincidence-at-infinity/ I decided to tackle the job myself. I followed Julian Thompson's instructions and I tweaked the rangefinder for perfect close focusing. I was expecting to have to tweak infinity as well, but it remained unchanged after the adjustment so nothing was needed. Here's the screwdriver I modified. I angled the edge and thinned it so it fit the screw head tightly. I'll continue testing to be sure I haven't overlooked something, but it looks like I nailed it without having to send it in and wait weeks for its return. Welcome, dear visitor!
