Advertisement Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Hi telyt, Take a look here Best manual SLR. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest Motivfindender Posted June 25, 2007 Share #42 Posted June 25, 2007 Dirk you really ought to try using an SL. Phoned up my best friend.... He owns not a SL or SL2, it is "only a simple" Leicaflex. So - Jan has to send me his SL . for my test.... (just kidding) :D Dirk
thrid Posted June 25, 2007 Share #43 Posted June 25, 2007 DAG resilvered the prism block in my SL and it's billiant (no pun intended). Not only is it extremely bright, but it has rather high contrast, so it's very easy to focus. I also had him install a focusing screen from the SL2, with the split prism. The next best finder I have seen is in the R8/R9 and R6.2. Extremely bright, but doesn't quite pack the punch that the one in the SL does. I think the most comfortable viewfinder can be found on the Nikon F3 HP. It's about the size of a port hole on a cruise liner and actually quite bright, although it does have a big of a warm tint.
