I wanted to get the ones made by Luigi (available online from Italy) but these ones were available here at Mainline in Sydney. These are the newer improved ones, they are thicker it seems. The strap is also what I love as its sewn well and protects the metal loops from scratching the side of the camera with those little leather flaps. I noted that the M8 has a small rubberized plate just under the eyeloop for the usual strap to prevent scratching. The MP doesn't, which is no real problem. regards Matt. I use that lens since it is available on the market. I tried out the whole series of Summarit lenses and they are real Leica lenses.
