Infantasy Posted January 6, 2017 Author Share #21 Posted January 6, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I eventually bought a used M3. I had "calibrated" the exposure reading by the metering Apps in iPhone with my 5Dmk3, M9 and Nikon F3. Will try to shoot the first roll of negative in this week, haha ... so exciting!! BTW, I have some rolls of ISO100 negative but have been expired for ten years (2007). Are they still usable? Do I need to treat them as lower ISO for developing? Thanks. Advertisement Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Hi Infantasy, Take a look here Metering for M4. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mikemgb Posted January 6, 2017 Share #22 Posted January 6, 2017 If it's colour film it probably won't be useable, at best it's going to have a colour cast and a background fog. It's always worth a try though, but I wouldn't recommend you use any of it while practicing your metering. Any images you get will be dark and won't accurately reflect your light reading prowess.
