mathorp Posted December 20, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 20, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I download my Leica Q photos by copying them from the SD card to my Windows 10 computer using a card reader. 95% of the photos transfer perfectly. The file properties include all the information one expects, such as dimensions; bity depth; camera model and exposure details The remainder transfer OK except that most of the file properties are missing. The only properties that show up are: File name; File type; date created; date modified. The problem does not appear to be either in the card reader or the computer because I cannot see this information on the SD card either. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Hi mathorp, Take a look here Missing properties after downloading DNG files . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
beez Posted December 20, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 20, 2016 You should open the files that appear to have missing info in an application (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) and look at the EXIF data that's actually attached to the picture. If that's all intact, I'd say its an OS problem.
