anickpick Posted November 25, 2016 Share #1 Posted November 25, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) After working only with M lenses for many years, the 90-280 is a new and exciting experience to me. I am surprised that this lens matches the M primes in terms of image quality. However, when using the lens handheld, I realized that my pictures are - very consistently sharp with shutter speeds of 1/250th of a sec. and faster (no surprise there) - very consistently sharp with shutter speeds of 1/30th of a second (wow!) - but not consistently sharp with shutter Speeds around 125th of a second: I would say about 50% of my photos are slightly blurred. At shutter speeds around 125th of a second, IS does not seem to have a real impact. Could it be that IS needs very slow shutter speeds to fully work its Magic? Anyone have the same experience? Thanks, Eric
