Lowepro Dashpoint as a Lens case?

Hi, I'm planning to use an ordinary Backpack as my main travel bag. I'm planning to build a modular system and I plan to use the Lowepro DashPoint AVC 60 as a lens case. Has anyone tried this? will my lens be safe? considering the said Lowepro Dashpoint AVC 60 is primarily build for action cameras.

Are you worried that the padding is too thin overall or the dividers?

You could always swap the dividers with another camera bag, and the outside looks pretty solid. Inside another bag I'd say they'll be pretty safe, but a PITA to get out

Exactly I'm worried about the padding.

 

Actually, my current setup is, my M240 is inside my Hadley Digital and the Hadley Digital is inside my STM backpack and my 3 other lenses are inside the Crumpler Pleasure dome Medium, which is inside the backpack. Essentially, if I'm shooting streets, I'm a one lens one camera shooter,  I leave my STM Backpack with the 3 other lenses inside the crumpler. However, I'f I do landscape I bring all my gear. 

 

Problem is, I'm stacking the Hadley digital above the Crumpler pleasure Dome Medium. Hence, I think I need the above-mentioned Lowepro product to replace my pleasure dome. 

 

Do you thing the Lowepro Dashpoint will be better than the Crumpler pleassure dome for the above-stated purpose? is the padding of the Lowepro better?

As no one else seems to be biting, my experience is that the Crumpler padding is pretty solid, but I assume you're after the Lowepro because it looks like it is a "hard" case? I think you're going to have to either bite the bullet and try it if you can't find one to inspect in person.

Thanks for the reply. Yup it looks like a hard case. I already inspected it, the outer layer is indeed hard, but the inside padding is not as thick as the crumpler.
