The hood fits fine but when I "lock" it onto the lens, it remains loose. There are small metal pieces in the slots of the hood that seem to be designed to assist in keeping the hood in the locked position. However, there are not working. Can anyone help? H Berry I own the same nocti. I don't know what you mean by “remains loose". Having locked my hood I only can unlock it by pressing the hood towards the camera intensively. So though it “feels" a bit loose I actually cannot imagine to unlock it by accident.
